• Enhance and scale backend systems powering the Mimica platform • Design and implement scalable architecture • Develop and optimize backend services and APIs • Improve performance and reliability of existing components • Take operational responsibility for what you build • Shape technical direction, processes, and culture • Contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate across teams • Develop real-time backend services • Create libraries and build APIs in Node backend • Diagnose fault-tolerance, availability issues, and performance bottlenecks • Refactor components, produce documentation • Provide feedback through pair programming and code reviews • Participate in hiring, onboarding, project management

Requirements

• Background in backend engineering • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript • Willingness to utilize modern frameworks/technologies • Practical experience in designing APIs, managing databases • Commitment to upholding engineering standards • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Drive for skill development, process improvement • Fluency in English • Bonus: Experience owning projects, distributed systems knowledge, secure software design, startup environment experience, interest in AI and automation
