📋 Description

• Lead Minerva’s meat trading and sales operations in the region. • Drive sales growth and expand market share through strategic sourcing and customer relationship management. • Oversee the daily activities of the trading team. • Negotiate purchase and sales agreements. • Manage key customer accounts. • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations. • Develop new markets and clients. • Ensure profitability through effective trading/sales strategies and risk management. • Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international meat markets. • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts. • Monitor global meat market trends, pricing, supply/demand dynamics, and competitor activity. • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to interact, motivate, and engage effectively. • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced organization. • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team. • Analytical and strategic thinker with sound risk management capabilities. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment. • Deep understanding of international meat markets, trading practices, sales strategy, and logistics. • Existing relationships in the food industry are a plus. • Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a differential. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (preferred). • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the meat industry or food products sector. • Strong knowledge of meat products, cuts, and the meat supply chain.
