📋 Description

• Prepare accurate 2D architectural, structural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD • Develop detailed construction drawings, documentation and drawing sets • Update drawings based on design changes, RFIs, site information and engineering instructions • Maintain drawing standards, layers, blocks, templates and title blocks • Produce plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules • Review drawings for accuracy, consistency and compliance with project requirements • Assist with quantity take-offs and documentation where required • Develop and maintain BIM models using Revit and/or other BIM platforms • Create architectural, structural and MEP models as required by the project • Develop BIM families, components and parametric content • Extract drawings, schedules and documentation from BIM models • Maintain model integrity and ensure drawings remain coordinated with the model • Perform model reviews and identify clashes, inconsistencies and coordination issues • Support BIM coordination between architectural, structural and services disciplines • Follow the client's BIM standards, naming conventions and documentation requirements • Coordinate drawings and BIM models across multiple disciplines • Identify clashes and design inconsistencies before construction • Participate in online coordination meetings with Australian project teams • Incorporate comments and revisions from architects, engineers and project managers • Maintain drawing/model revision control • Coordinate with external consultants and subcontractors where required • Work according to Australian project documentation standards and client procedures • Develop an understanding of relevant Australian building and construction requirements • Support projects across residential, commercial, industrial or infrastructure sectors • Ensure documentation is suitable for Australian construction and approval processes • Communicate project progress, issues and technical queries to Australian stakeholders • Meet performance expectations for accuracy, quality, standards compliance, on-time delivery, coordination issue resolution, responsiveness, communication and deadline management

🎯 Requirements

• Based in the Philippines • 3+ years of professional experience in AutoCAD drafting/design • Strong experience with AutoCAD • Practical experience with BIM, preferably using Revit • Experience producing construction/documentation drawings • Ability to interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings • Strong understanding of construction documentation • Experience coordinating drawings/models across disciplines • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Excellent written and spoken English • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work with Australian clients and accommodate Australian working hours • Reliable high-speed internet • Suitable professional workstation/laptop capable of running AutoCAD/Revit • Quiet and professional home-office environment • Ability to maintain confidentiality of Australian client information and project documentation • Preferred: Experience working with Australian architecture, engineering or construction companies • Preferred: Experience with Australian construction documentation standards • Preferred: Knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards • Preferred: Experience with residential, commercial, industrial or fit-out projects • Preferred: Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud • Preferred: Experience with Navisworks • Preferred: Experience with clash detection and BIM coordination • Preferred: Experience with Bluebeam • Preferred: Experience with SketchUp, Rhino or other 3D modelling tools • Preferred: Experience with rendering/visualisation tools • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 • Desirable: Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, Civil 3D, Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP and BIM Collaborate Pro • Preferred diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Design, Drafting or a related discipline • Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
