📋 Description

• Perform accurate and timely data entry into MYOB and other financial or operational systems • Establish and maintain recurring transactions within the MYOB accounting system • Maintain accurate financial records, supporting documentation, and contractual records • Purchase, reconcile, and maintain housekeeping vouchers in accordance with organisational policies and procedures • Assist with routine finance administration and accounting activities • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to follow up on outstanding invoices, claims, approvals, and payments • Support the Finance team in monitoring and following up outstanding receivables to facilitate timely revenue collection • Ensure financial documentation is complete, accurate, and appropriately maintained • Assist with reconciliations and other routine financial processes • Monitor, triage, and action shared Finance email inboxes • Ensure enquiries are appropriately allocated, tracked, and responded to within required timeframes • Follow up with stakeholders to obtain signed agreements and other required documentation • Maintain complete and up-to-date contractual and financial records • Identify opportunities to improve finance administration processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives • Provide general administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Finance team • Assist with other finance-related tasks and projects as required

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Finance Administration, Accounts Receivable, or a related role • Practical experience using MYOB for day-to-day financial and accounting processes — required • Working knowledge of Australian accounting and finance processes • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling financial data and documentation • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Experience managing shared inboxes and responding to or triaging finance-related enquiries • Ability to follow up professionally with stakeholders regarding invoices, payments, approvals, claims, and documentation • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and confidential information • Strong administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Finance team • NDIS knowledge or experience is highly desirable • Knowledge of Australian taxation principles and ATO requirements is highly desirable • Experience supporting an Australian organisation or Finance team is strongly preferred
