We specialize in custom Software Development, Mobile Apps, Talent Staffing and Delivery Teams. Right now, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team! This role will focus on automation, repeatable provisioning, among other things while working with de development teams to help introduce best practices across the organization. Responsibilities • Participate and help lead release planning efforts. • Collaborate with Digital Producers to outline deployment plans. • Manage deployments for routine fixes and or updates to applications. • Implement, manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines. • Update and help improve build and deployment processes • Understanding the infrastructure needs of stakeholders. Translate these needs into technical requirements and related architecture. • Participate in architecture reviews. Create supportive documentation to capture technical requirements. Logical architecture, networking, sequence diagrams, etc. • Provisioning new infrastructure needed for incoming projects. • Assist in building and maintaining highly available systems. • Provide technical support related to hosted environments. • Perform root cause analysis for production errors. Investigate and resolve technical issues as needed. • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes. • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats. • Take on special projects as necessary. • Operationally support existing cloud infrastructure. • Collaborate with stakeholders on governance and security best practices • Responsible for the setup and configuration of cloud infrastructure for all web projects. • Responsible for creating/maintaining IAC (infrastructure as code) templates. • Responsible for the setup and configuration of code repositories. • Responsible for the setup and configuration of CICD pipelines. • Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting CICD systems as needed. • Attending and facilitating production release meetings related to web projects. • Responsible for all web related production deployments. • Responsible for monitoring the health of production workloads and applications. • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with code pipelines. • Attending meetings with internal and external teams to discuss project requirements and needs. I.e., DNS, infrastructure needs, and other services and solutions as needed. • Responsible for supporting developers with ad hoc DevOps requests. • Contributing to scoping and estimating DevOps related tasks. • Responsible for taking on special projects if/when needed. This usually consists of optimizations and automation to the engineering workflows or in support of other teams where process can benefit from automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in concentrations of computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, or closely related fields.● • Experience in AWS utilizing EC2, Amplify, S3, Cloudfront, ACM, ELB/ALB, VPC, RDS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, Cost explorer. ● • Experience in one or more of the following services and products: ◦ Jenkins, GIT, Docker, Gulp, NPM, Yarn • Linux server administration • Fundamental knowledge of network engineering, DNS management, and common web protocols (HTTP, TLS) • Experience with production system monitoring tools and frameworks • Writing automation tools and scripts with languages such as NodeJs, Python, and Bash • Tuning and optimization of database management systems • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and guidelines • Ability to collaborate with the engineering team as well as work independently on projects • Exceptional time management and ability to problem solve under pressure • Excellent judgment skills and team working abilities • Very strong verbal/written communication skills & excellent attention to detail • Flexibility in work schedule as needs arise
