• The Android Engineer will be a critical team member of the Android Chapter, being part of a cross-functional team, and collaborating with other software engineers to deliver robust solutions within the smart mobility ecosystem. • Together with your peers you will be defining the future connected services for one of the largest OEMs in the world, being able to see the result of your work driving down the road! Being so close to cutting-edge technologies will allow you to further enhance your skills & thrive within an innovative and people-oriented environment. • On a given day, an Android Engineer will: • Engage in the development of native Android applications used by thousands of users daily. • Leverage your technical expertise across the entire app development lifecycle. • Tackle complex technical problems, taking a role in transforming the electric cars landscape. • Stay up to date with new technologies and methodologies to streamline development and keep up with the latest trends. • Collaborate with agile cross-functional teams, including software engineers from different crafts.
• BSc. and/or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or any related field. • Minimum 3 years’ of working experience in developing and delivering production grade native Android applications. • Experience with Kotlin and/or Java. • Familiarity with Android design principles, best practices and design patterns. • Previous working experience with consuming RESTful APIs and other back-end services. • Deep understanding of Android Operating Systems, as well as the limitations and behavior that come with different hardware and software versions. • Good understanding of modern Android architectural approaches for the presentation layer (MVVM). • Experience with unit testing. • Familiarity with flows and coroutines. • Fluency in English is a must, as we are a multinational company. • Active contribution as a team player to collaborative efforts. • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies, embracing an out of the box thinking approach. • Amazing if you have: • Experience working with Jetpack Compose
