• API Development: - Constructing and managing APIs - Enhancement and optimization of API functionalities • Language Competence: - Strong command of low-level programming languages - Foundational understanding of Javascript/Typescript • Effective Communication: - Articulate and efficient communication, especially with remote teams - Discuss intricate technical matters with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Collaborative Team Player: - Collaboration with cross-functional teams - Participation in the conceptualization, development, and standardization of API functionalities • Community Engagement: - Engaging with open-source developers - Facilitating onboarding processes - Playing a pivotal role in code reviews and design discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing software on a team • Experience in building APIs and supporting production services at scale • Proficiency with low-level programming languages such as Rust, Go, or C/C++ • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript • Excellent interpersonal communication skills • Solid understanding of software design patterns • Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences • Strong software engineering skills and collaborative mindset
