📋 Description

• Further develop the Shopify Plus store, from the frontend theme to Shopify Functions, custom apps, and third-party system integrations • Develop and optimize Shopify theme sections, templates, and snippets using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), and JavaScript • Implement new storefront features and design updates • Ensure performance, stability, fast load times, and strong Core Web Vitals while preventing layout shifts • Develop Shopify Functions and model data structures using Metafields and Metaobjects • Design, develop, and operate custom apps with Node.js/TypeScript, Remix, and Shopify CLI • Integrate ERP, CRM, and marketing systems via the GraphQL Admin API, webhooks, and event-driven workflows • Ensure clean data transfers to GA4 and BigQuery and support event and tracking setup • Technically implement A/B tests in Kameleoon, including goal and event setup as well as browser and device QA • Integrate successful test variants into the standard codebase and build reusable components • Further develop the testing infrastructure together with the CRO Lead • Use AI tools for code generation, code review, debugging, and documentation • Contribute to agile processes using Git, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD, and traceable documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in Shopify/Shopify Plus development, particularly theme development with Liquid • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (SCSS) • Solid backend fundamentals: Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and data modeling • Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD • Experience with AI-assisted coding • Attention to detail, a strong commitment to quality, and a hands-on mindset • Fluent German • Permanent residence in Germany required • Experience with Shopify Functions, custom apps (Remix, Shopify CLI), and Checkout UI Extensions is a plus or can be developed at NATURTREU • Experience with A/B testing tools (Kameleoon, VWO, Optimizely) and a basic understanding of CRO are a plus • Experience with React, GA4/data layers, and Core Web Vitals is a plus
