📋 Description

• Own assigned customer incidents through resolution or appropriate escalation • Make minor repairs and replace components on Tier I equipment, including PCs, workstations, peripherals, printers, POS systems, ATMs, kiosks, and proof encoders • Assist with site preparation, cable installation, equipment staging, and minor equipment testing • Perform modular swaps, unit replacements, and preventative maintenance services • Build customer relationships and maintain communication throughout service activities • Understand and perform customer SLA requirements and escalate issues appropriately • Install and set up hardware, perform hardware modifications, first-line maintenance, and multi-vendor maintenance • Diagnose problems and maintain appropriate security procedures when working with ATMs or financial institutions • Stage equipment at shops or customer sites and assist with equipment installation • Manage NCR assets and maintain parts inventory and records • Report calls, activities, expenses, customer asset information, invoicing, and billing data accurately and promptly • Meet territory or country/region goals for revenue, calls, utilization, parts fill rate, customer satisfaction, callbacks, and SLA performance

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma listed as the education level • Valid driver's license • Cleared background check and drug screen • Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, flexible shifts, and on-call shifts • College degree or certificate in electronics or computer technology preferred • Acceptable advanced training includes one year of college-level courses, equivalent military training, or electronics/computer technology training • One year of electronics or computer training at a recognized trade school, including theory and in-class hands-on time • A+ Certification listed as acceptable training • Job-related experience with electronic or electromechanical devices preferred but not required • Previous experience as an electronics bench or rework technician preferred • Ability to travel for prolonged periods and carry/lift tool kits or parts weighing 1–50 lbs. • Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, push, pull, twist, climb, stoop, and work in cramped or unusual positions • Ability to work under stress and engage in interpersonal relations with potentially dissatisfied customers
