📋 Description

• Build the Salesforce side of an order management capability for a beverage manufacturer • Build the Salesforce order data model, including mapping of client material, customer material, ship-to party and customer purchase order references • Surface a projected requirement report inside Salesforce at account and material level, reproducing its record structure and decision rules • Build capability to amend order records, including quantity, requested ship date, line-level detail and amendment reason codes • Build capability to cancel orders • Build return authorisations as an order type so returns are processed in Salesforce rather than SAP • Implement the state model governing permitted amendments at each stage of the order lifecycle • Implement approval processes based on authorisation thresholds • Build exception and reconciliation surfaces showing what has and has not been accepted by SAP • Deliver five to ten reports and two to three dashboards over the order estate • Work with an integration architect on the same squad within an existing programme's sprint cycle

🎯 Requirements

• Four to six years building on the Salesforce platform, in a development rather than administration role • Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and consuming integrations through callouts and platform events • Real work on transactional or order objects, including data model design, complex validation and approval processes • Salesforce Platform Developer I • Fluent English, working the programme's ceremonies with a US-based team • Desirable: Salesforce Order Management, or order objects in a Salesforce org integrated with an ERP • Desirable: Platform Developer II • Desirable: Reporting and dashboard build at volume • Desirable: Manufacturing or consumer packaged goods exposure
