Description

• Develop and maintain the frontend and backend on our sites to ensure performance, scalability, and security of our ecosystem; • Develop and support marketing campaigns; • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; • Collaborate with the design team to create custom WordPress themes and plugins; • Create or modify WordPress Gutenberg blocks and ensure their compatibility; • Integrate APIs and third-party services into the website; • Optimize the website for SEO and ensure responsiveness; • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in full-stack WordPress development; • Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and MySQL; • Experience with PHP; • Experience in creating custom WordPress plugins and themes; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism required); • Knowledge of best practices and latest standards in web development; • Familiarity with version control systems like Git; • Ability to work with Webpack to build, compress, and optimize resources for project deployment; • Enthusiasm to join a fast-growing startup; • Enjoy working in a team and collaborating with individuals of diverse backgrounds; • Autonomy and comfort in a dynamic environment with occasional uncertainty; • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; • Ability to work independently and in an agile team environment.
