📋 Description

• Review court publications, schedule deadlines in the system, analyze complex cases, prepare reports, request client action items, and meet deadlines • Draft complaints, including collection proceedings, enforcement actions, and debt collection claims • Draft defenses, counterclaims, simple and complex motions, and appeals, including appeals in Small Claims Court, appellate briefs, motions for clarification, Special Appeals to the Superior Court of Justice (RESP), Extraordinary Appeals to the Federal Supreme Court (REXT), internal interlocutory appeals, and interlocutory appeals in RESP and REXT proceedings • Handle banking and high-volume litigation matters for both plaintiffs and defendants • Handle enforcement actions, defenses to enforcement, collection proceedings, debt collection claims, lease renewal actions, rent review actions, other review actions, damages claims, declaratory actions, accounting actions, and preliminary injunction proceedings • Manage cases through the trial, judgment enforcement, and judgment liquidation phases • Respond to client inquiries through the internal system and by email • Handle client requests submitted via spreadsheets • Manage complex cases and urgent measures requested by clients • Enter case-related information into the firm's case management system • Analyze cases eligible for waiver of appeal • Request compliance with obligations to act and to pay • Request supporting information and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of active registration with the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP); registration in another state will not be considered • Experience at law firms, preferably in high-volume litigation • Experience drafting defenses and appeals • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and the Internet • Strong written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in Small Claims Court proceedings • Up-to-date knowledge of Brazil's 2015 Code of Civil Procedure • Ability to manage a high volume of daily analyses • Commitment and reliability • Knowledge of banking litigation and consumer law will be considered an advantage
