📋 Description

• Review docket publications and schedule deadlines in the system • Analyze more complex cases, prepare reports, request required actions from the client, and meet deadlines • Draft initial pleadings, including collection proceedings, enforcement actions, and debt collection claims • Draft defenses, counterclaims, routine and complex submissions, and all types of appeals • Handle cases through the pleading, judgment enforcement, and judgment liquidation stages • Act in banking and mass litigation matters on both the claimant and defendant sides • Handle enforcement actions, defenses to enforcement, collection proceedings, lease renewal actions, rent revision actions, other revision claims, damages claims, declaratory actions, accounting actions, and provisional relief proceedings • Respond to inquiries submitted by the client through the internal system and by email • Handle client requests submitted via spreadsheets • Manage complex cases and urgent measures requested by the client • Enter case information into the firm’s case management system • Analyze whether appeals may be waived • Request compliance with obligations to do and to pay • Request supporting information and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of active registration with the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP); registrations in other states will not be considered • Experience working at law firms, preferably in mass litigation • Experience drafting defenses and appeals • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and the Internet • Strong written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in Small Claims Court proceedings • Knowledge of banking litigation and consumer law is a plus • Up-to-date knowledge of the 2015 Code of Civil Procedure • Ability to manage a high volume of daily analyses • Commitment and reliability
