• Impacting all engineering teams by improving the platform for world-class frontends • Collaborating on GitHub and pull requests with other engineers • Assisting support engineers in reproducing and understanding frontend issues • Solving complex technical frontend problems and architectural decisions • Writing tests, improving documentation, and creating blog posts • Balancing passion, pragmatism, and empathy in problem-solving • Delivering value to customers iteratively • Working with great tools like C#, .NET, TypeScript, and React • Directly engaging with customers to help them succeed with Octopus • Remote work, high-growth company, trust and autonomy

Requirements

• Experienced individual contributor or leader • Strong grasp of TypeScript and React • Built and maintained component libraries • Care about writing simple frontend components with tests • Familiarity with frontend engineering patterns • Experience in UI/UX design or working with UI/UX designers • Configuring frontend tooling like Webpack or Vite • Able to make good decisions in software engineering • Enjoy automating builds, tests, deployments, and operational tasks • Independent worker, good communicator, collaborative problem-solver • Results-oriented and adaptable • Desire for coding and leadership balance • Valuing freedom, responsibility, and adult treatment • Enthusiastic about feedback and solving complex problems • Work-life balance and inclusivity
