📋 Description

• Increase and secure sales for customers in the assigned sales territory (primarily Southern Germany and Switzerland, with additional coverage of Western Austria and Northern Italy) • Generate business opportunities and manage relationships by overseeing the sales process using tools such as Salesforce and Showpad to track opportunities, activities, and customer interactions • Ensure strong customer loyalty through proactive virtual engagement and on-site visits as needed • Assume responsibility for customer accounts transitioned from the Business Development team • Align customer requirements with internal processes and solutions • Report on key performance indicators (revenue, margin, opportunities, activities, closing rates, customer satisfaction) • Ensure customer satisfaction and deliver technical support and on-site services • Support market intelligence gathering and conduct competitive analyses • Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field • Complementary business training in sales and marketing • Proven sales experience (3–5 years) as an account manager in a technical environment • Demonstrated ability to build long-term business relationships • Experience leading customer projects and managing contracts • Excellent negotiation skills • Track record of success in solution selling and achieving sales targets • Solid knowledge of sales processes and principles • Strong technical and commercial understanding • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry • Ability to adapt to different markets, applications, and customer profiles and to rapidly learn new technologies • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and spoken) in German and English; additional European languages are an advantage • Strong intercultural competence and a highly collaborative mindset • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 40%)
