📋 Description

• Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles with department leaders • Formulate and refine budgetary and accounting policies • Produce long-range profit and cash flow forecasts for resource allocation • Prepare timely financial reports and management accounts for leadership • Translate income statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis into business performance insights • Ensure financial reporting is accurate and compliant with statutory and accounting standards • Examine operating costs and income and expenditure to identify efficiency opportunities • Conduct pricing, sensitivity, and industry benchmarking analysis • Build and maintain financial models for valuation, capital investment appraisal, and expansion decisions • Appraise cash flow and financial risk for proposed projects • Partner with non-finance stakeholders and explain financial insights • Introduce and maintain accounting systems and internal controls • Support accurate financial records and reporting compliance • Report to Pippa Strong and collaborate with leadership and departments across the business

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, management accounting, or corporate finance • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • Experience owning budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis for a multi-entity or international business • Strong financial modelling skills • Experience in valuation, capital investment appraisal, and pricing/sensitivity analysis • Comfortable presenting financial insights to non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership • Highly organised and detail-oriented • Comfortable owning deliverables independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment • Comfortable working across Xero, Excel/Google Sheets, Domo, HubSpot, Rippling, and Brex, or equivalent tools • Ability to pick up new systems quickly • Nice to have: experience in a high-growth SaaS or eCommerce business • Nice to have: exposure to M&A or project finance
