📋 Description

• Lead and develop two engineering teams, working closely with Product, Design, and Data • Ensure the teams deliver with quality and speed, aligned with business objectives • Foster a high-performance environment focused on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Support and track team members’ growth through frequent feedback and development plans • Ensure alignment and effective communication across different squads and stakeholders • Monitor and improve engineering metrics, including quality, performance, and productivity • Contribute to the tribe’s strategic decisions by connecting technology with business impact

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Background in software development • Experience managing people and leading engineering teams • Experience with distributed, highly scalable, and highly available systems • Knowledge of systems architecture and engineering best practices • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams across Product, Design, and Data • Strong communication and influencing skills, with stakeholders at all levels of the organization • Ability to make decisions driven by data and business impact • Experience with search, recommendation, or relevance systems, including ranking and search engines • Familiarity with experimentation, including A/B testing, and user experience optimization
