Infrastructure Engineers at ONE build the foundational systems that enable engineers to serve our customers. Besides designing, building, and evolving core systems, engineers collaborate with others across the company, from product, data, and ops, to customer support, security and compliance. Infrastructure Engineers at ONE are highly technical, communicative, and emotionally intelligent. This role is responsible for: • Working closely with other engineers to build and manage infrastructure-as-code, cloud infrastructure, observability systems, and other mission critical systems. We enjoy collaboration and partnering on hard problems. • Create and expand documentation. As a growing and remote organization, having the necessary docs are key to our success. • Solve complex problems that arise at scale. We deal with real-world money movement, sensitive financial data at scale, and are creating novel financial mechanics with no real precedent.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience building, shipping — and growing — mission critical infrastructure. • Passion for your craft and care for the people you work with. You value quality across code, communication, and culture. • An act-like-an-owner mentality. We have a bias toward taking action. • A desire to keep growing your skills, and an ability to learn quickly. Our environments are AWS-first, running workloads on Kubernetes, and built to be highly observable and scalable. We believe great engineers can learn any stack, so you do not need experience with these specific tools, but you’ll ramp up more quickly if you are familiar with public cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts.
