Description

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software applications. • Set the standard for best practices and high-quality coding. • Establish policies and procedures for developing extensible, reusable, and maintainable code. • Identify and address coding issues. • Create and apply metrics to drive code quality and stability. • Lead platform & product development and scaling. • Oversee critical system architecture and incorporate product strategy components. • Create a strategic roadmap for system architecture. • Engage in experimentation for valuable technological spaces. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship. • Collaborate with other senior leaders to align on policies and procedures and negotiate cross-function dependency roadmaps.

Requirements

• Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proven track record in delivering sophisticated software solutions and leading complex technical projects. • Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar. • Mastery over data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. • Experience in web application development, RESTful APIs, and frontend technologies is advantageous. • Proficiency in working with relational databases and SQL. • Strong grasp of version control systems such as Git. • Proven experience building scalable and reliable distributed systems in a cloud environment. • Ability to mentor and lead a technical organization. • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
