Description

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement critical components of our services, ensuring seamless integration within the overall architecture. • Pioneer the development of innovative user interfaces and features, driving the enhancement of user experiences and contributing to the overall usability of our software solutions. • Actively engage in the exploration, investigation, and prototyping of cutting-edge concepts and technologies, staying at the forefront of industry trends to inform decision-making and maintain a competitive edge. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes by providing insights, best practices, and recommendations based on your wealth of experience. • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team. • Conduct thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain code quality, scalability, and adherence to coding standards. • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing, and deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable software solutions. • Lead a team of 5-10 software engineers both remote and on-site with direct people management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience building distributed systems at scale. • Experience with JAVA and SpringBoot. • Experience with Redis, MySQL/Postgres or other relational databases is a bonus. • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services. • Production deployment experience. • Experience consuming services exposed via REST and GRPC APIs. • Comfortable with test automation, and other engineering best practices. • Proven ability to work independently, lead a software project, and mentor junior software engineers.
