📋 Description

• Source and hunt for available freight using DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards • Review and evaluate loads based on rate, route, timing, and practicality • Book freight directly with brokers and shippers • Handle carrier packets, rate confirmations, and dispatch-related documents • Coordinate loads and schedules with drivers • Communicate and negotiate with brokers • Monitor booked loads from pickup through delivery • Organize and track loads using Trello and internal spreadsheets • Identify and avoid undesirable loads, including freight that may be difficult or time-consuming to offload

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in freight dispatching and logistics coordination • Proven carrier-side experience in freight booking and dispatching • Experience using DAT, Truckstop, or similar load boards • Hands-on experience hunting, sourcing, and booking freight • Experience working with brokers, including carrier packets and rate confirmations • Ability to evaluate whether a load is profitable and practical for the carrier • Strong understanding of driver schedules and carrier operations • Strong English communication skill • Candidates with direct carrier-side experience are preferred over candidates with only brokerage-side experience
