• Run discovery to demo to proposal to negotiation to close for SMB offers such as Design Strategy Assessment (fixed-fee roadmap), Experience Design packages, Product Development (custom quote), and Managed GPT and automation retainers that may include usage or seat components. • Align on pain points, desired future state, and the economic buyer; connect technology to business outcomes; demo succinctly with clear value; comfortably discuss internal versus external AI use cases without relying on technical jargon. • Draft proposals and SOW snippets from templates; anchor pricing to value and usage models; explain fixed, usage, and hybrid structures in plain English; negotiate to a clean “yes” or “no” and set expectations for next steps. • Keep CRM immaculate, forecast with integrity, record calls, and tag learnings; target a show rate of at least 60% on set meetings, a close rate of at least 25% on qualified opportunities, and a median sales cycle of 14 days or less to verbal “yes” on pilots or initial packages; hand off with clear scope, pricing math, risks, and success metrics. • Collaborate on or spin up outreach workflows when needed; leverage tools such as Apollo, Clay, Smartlead, and SEMrush or equivalents; partner with founder on objection handling and on offer/pricing insights; use founder-led content and ICP pain points to keep calendars full and deals moving. • Sell to SMB buyers in the U.S., Canada, and Australia, with a calm, consultative, momentum-focused style that avoids pushiness; embody values of operator outcomes over hype, clarity and candor, speed with standards, privacy and data care, SMB empathy, and ownership of the number.
• 2-5+ years successfully closing B2B services or high-ticket solutions (agency, SaaS, automation or AI helpful) with SMB buyers; portfolio of call recordings (wins + losses) with written W/L notes. • Ability to explain AI/GPT pricing (fixed vs. usage vs. hybrid) in simple terms, automation concepts, internal vs. external applications; confident discussing governance, privacy, and data care at a high level. • Proven execution across discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close; rigorous CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, habitual call recording and tagging, and clean handoffs that include scope, pricing math, risks, and success metrics. • Hands-on experience with Apollo, Clay, Smartlead, and SEMrush or comparable tools; comfort coordinating light setter activity and automation; ability to build or iterate outbound sequences and basic funnels when needed. • Excellent English in writing and speech (additional languages are a plus); founder-friendly, consultative communicator who translates technical capabilities into concrete business outcomes without pressure tactics. • Track record that meets or exceeds a 60% show rate and 25% close rate on qualified opportunities or comparable metrics; bias for speed with standards; ownership mindset with integrity and accountability.
