Description

• Drive product and engineering department forward • Ensure reliability on different parts of the Paddle platform • Help engineers work better and more efficiently • Work on infrastructure, reliability standards, and practices • Empowered to use the right tech for the job • Collaborate and communicate with engineers • Advocate for GitOps methodology • Seek out processes that can be improved with automation

Requirements

• AWS experience, particularly with ECS/Fargate, EKS, EC2, Aurora RDS, S3, and Eventbridge • Knowledge of platform and ops concepts such as networking and Linux administration • Experience working with microservices and distributed systems at scale • Experience with monitoring tools including Opentelemetry, Grafana, ELK, Pingdom, and PagerDuty
