Description

• As a Software Engineer, Backend, you’ll play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining the data platform and our Machine Learning products. • Opportunity to work with cutting edge technology that transforms rich data into actionable intelligence for customers. • Collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to build new features, modules, and extensions for the system. • Seeking an action-oriented and collaborative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and can take on new challenges with optimism in a fast-paced environment. • Value team members who are perpetual learners committed to growth and contributing to collective success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of developing and scaling high-availability systems • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) • Strong expertise in Python, Flask, Airflow, and SQL • Experience with columnar analytical databases (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake, Clickhouse, Apache Druid or others) • A bias for action, where no task is too small • Nice to haves: • Experience with managing infrastructure, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Terraform Cloud • Experience with node.js/typescript • Comfort with cloud technologies such as AWS • Experience working in high growth venture-backed startup(s) • Prior experience with fintech, trading, transaction or payments data for optimization, fraud, recommendation, routing or tracking
