• Responsible for the development and implementation of the agreed business sales strategy that will meet business objectives for growth and revenue generation. • Preserve and grow product sales with existing accounts and secure new sales with new accounts for the purpose of business growth. • Achieve assigned territory penetration, growth, and sales goals by identifying and securing new accounts and by defending, retaining, and increasing the profitable penetration of existing accounts. • Identify market, competitive, and segment issues and opportunities in the assigned territory. • Formulate a business plan and introduce sales initiatives that address or capitalize on situations and opportunities. • Identify sales opportunities and recommend effective strategies for conversion. • Maximise sales effectiveness through lead generation, the communication and sharing of market segment information, and the introductions and coordination of market segment programs. • Build and maintain strong professional business relationships with key personnel to foster trust and influence opportunities. • Handle customer communications, complaints and requests for information and data concerning market segments, products, and capabilities, availability, prices, and bid expirations expeditiously and effectively. • Manage and negotiate all related sales RFQ’s, contracts and NDA’s. • Serve as the market specialist to help understand the relationship between the assigned market and others in adjacent spaces. • Advise on additional products and services that the assigned market might require; assist the product management team in assessing market need. • Conduct product and service training for customers within assigned markets.
• 5-10 years market experience of successfully penetrating and closing profitable, large scale ($500k+) business opportunities at a senior level within the medical sector across Europe. • The ability to work as part of a cross functional, multi departmental teams to create strategic and tactical sales plans to deliver profitable business. • The ability to develop mid and high-level relationships with clients in multi-national and multifunctional businesses that lead to clear understanding of customers objectives and motivations for doing business. • Ability to interpret, understand and appropriately utilise structured selling methods to ensure that a common language it used across the business. • Relevant bachelor / master’s degree (Business Studies, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain). • Should the relevant bachelor / master’s degree not be in place, a desire to take your learning to this level, supported by the company. • Minimum 5-10 years proven track record in new business development and account management of rigid or flexible packaging within the medical sector across Europe. • Experience and knowledge of Medical packaging design and validation requirements. • Experience in export and international sales. • Experience in meeting targets and working to deadlines. • Structured sales approach. • Experience selling to multi layered/ multi-tiered/ multi-site customers. • Strong oral and written presentation and communication skills. • High level of interpersonal skills. • Good time management, organisational and prioritising skills. • Analytical approach. • Minimum 5-10 years proven track record in new business development and account management within the healthcare sector. • Project management experience.
