📋 Description

• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all accounting data by recording, reviewing, and posting business transactions. • Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process. • Perform monthly account reconciliations. • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. • Review, record, and process vendor invoices. • Obtain the necessary approvals and prepare payments. • Maintain vendor master data and tax-related documentation. • Ensure compliance with VAT requirements. • Support the tracking of payments to external service providers and contractors. • Support internal and external audits. • Collaborate with auditors on interim and year-end audits. • Provide relevant documentation and supporting evidence. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standards, particularly IFRS. • Contribute to ad hoc finance projects. • Provide cover for and support team members as needed. • Actively collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent German, both written and spoken. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable field. • At least 2 years of professional experience in financial accounting or a comparable accounting role. • Experience in SaaS, software, technology, or other international companies. • Hands-on experience with month-end close. • Experience in accounts payable. • Experience with account reconciliations and general ledger accounting. • Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards. • Experience with European entities and VAT processes. • Experience working in an international or remote environment. • Experience with HubSpot, Ramp, or comparable financial and operational systems. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Independent, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work. • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
