Description

• Responsible for delivering coding in alignment with Payspace’s Technical standards and Industry best practices • Ensuring innovative design and unit testing of the various elements that make up the PaySpace application • Resolving all software related issues within agreed time frames • Making recommendation on modifications and enhancements to drive innovation • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customer base • Adheres to business processes and systems to meet quality requirements • Takes personal accountability for service excellence • Adheres to the company's work standards • Uses Azure DevOps to manage tasks and application code • Designs extensible, secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise level applications • Writes well-designed, testable, efficient and secure code • Collaborates with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects • Prepares reports, manuals, and other documentation • Develops, refines, and tunes integrations between applications • Provides support to business users • Unit tests applications in accordance with established standards • Adheres to Development Best Practice • Stays abreast of emerging technologies/industry trends • Analyzes and resolves technical and application problems • Assesses opportunities for application and process improvement • Contributes to our knowledge sharing culture by mentoring Junior Developers

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or relevant Diploma • 5 – 7 years’ experience in a similar role • Agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum • Technology: HTML, CSS, C#, Vue, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SQL, LINQ, EF, AJAX, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Web API • Exposure to Azure Cloud technology stack is advantageous • Azure DevOps or similar
