📋 Description

• Identify, assess and develop potential customers in future areas of factory and process automation (e.g., Industry 4.0, digitalization, sensing, vision systems, RFID, HMI & APL) • Strategically develop the customer base and acquire new customers • Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales process from lead generation through proposal submission to closing sales orders and projects • Independently plan and conduct customer visits, web meetings and campaigns within the assigned sales region • Evaluate potential customers with regard to revenue potential, market attractiveness and risk • Participate in regional and cluster meetings within the matrix organization • Continuously improve applied research, sales and reporting methods within the Mercuri Sales Platform model • Represent the company at trade shows, especially for innovative products and product launches • Work in the Southern Germany region with a regional office in Augsburg-Friedberg and the option to work from home

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in (industrial) engineering or vocational technician qualification with several years of sales experience in automation technology • Several years of professional experience in sales or product management • Strong technical understanding, especially of future topics in factory automation • High acquisition and negotiation skills • Strong affinity for digital trends, technologies, methods and tools • Quick comprehension and willingness to contribute to shaping the role • Strong creativity, initiative, proactive working style and team orientation • Business-fluent German; English skills are desirable
