📋 Description

• You will take sole responsibility for contract-law advice and for developing negotiation strategies for the business units and areas of the PLATH Systems & Integration Business Division across all relevant project (and acquisition) phases. • Draft, review, structure and negotiate contracts under civil and public law. • Support legally and technically complex projects. • Work in close coordination with the PLATH Holding legal team, Sales, Procurement and Project Management, and report to the Division CEO. • Coordinate and handle contract arrangements with customers, suppliers and other contracting parties. • Coordinate the legal team during contract negotiation phases and serve as a member of the negotiation team. • Perform early analysis and assessment of tenders and awards to identify legal risks and define mitigation measures. • Enforce contractual rights in key projects. • Develop governance rules and directives for contract execution within the S&I Business Division. • Actively ensure compliance with division-internal approval processes. • Take responsibility for all contractual aspects of change-order management and develop project- and supplier-specific claim strategies. • Coordinate the timely preparation and submission of claims.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Business Law or a degree in Law (fully qualified lawyer) • Professional experience in an industrial company or in a law firm focused on business law, with a focus on contract law — ideally with international experience • Extensive negotiation experience with international B2B and B2G stakeholders • Experience with international law in the defence and security sector is desirable • Strong team orientation, openness and excellent communication skills • Informal leadership experience of interdisciplinary teams, particularly in coordinating content and training negotiation teams • High willingness to travel nationally and internationally • Independent, pragmatic and results-oriented working style • Business-fluent English and very good IT skills (MS Office); French language skills are an advantage
