Description

• Populus is rapidly expanding our suite of offerings to cities.  You will be a core member of our sales team and will play a key role in establishing new and supporting  existing relationships  with cities.  You’ll actively sell, negotiate, and close new business for our curb and parking insights platform with government customers. This role requires a good understanding of the public sector, strong listening skills to bring together market data and customer needs to deliver scalable products for cities. The candidate will be a highly determined, self-motivated individual who fosters strong relationships and can navigate bureaucracy to close contracts with public sector customers.

Requirements

• 7+ years working in enterprise SaaS sales • Experience with CRM software and pipeline management • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Desire to work in a collaborative, results-oriented environment • Proven top performer (consistently exceeds targets) • Strong passion and interest in transportation • Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to take on new challenges • Experience in start-up, high-growth companies and/or clearly articulated passion for entrepreneurial environments • 5+ years working in public sector SaaS and/or parking sales • Existing or previous working relationships with the public sector, specifically within parking and transportation departments • Prior experience selling products or services related to parking and understanding sophisticated and highly technical software and/or data products
