Description

• Manage Accounting Department for the Property and Casualty insurance division. • Lead monthly close process, ensure regulatory compliance, and accurate financial reporting. • Collaborate with departments for accurate financial information and strategic decision-making. • Oversee financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. • Manage accounting team, financial transactions, and reinsurance accounting. • Assess and mitigate financial risks, optimize capital efficiency, and coordinate audits and examinations. • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in insurance accounting and financial management, focusing on P&C insurance. • College degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent work experience. • CPA, MBA experience preferred. • Knowledge of reinsurance, insurance regulations, GAAP, and SAP. • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. • Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Benefits
