Porto a Porto is a Brazilian retailer and distributor specializing in wines, spirits and gourmet food products. 📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead within the squad, actively co-owning and being responsible for architectural decisions, validations, and optimizations. • Develop highly resilient and scalable systems, using cutting-edge technology aligned with Porto’s business needs. • Ensure the team’s technical excellence by providing valuable insights in code reviews and mitigating technical debt through clean, sustainable code (Clean Code). • Raise the level of automated testing practices (unit and integration tests) within the development cycle. • Model and define optimal database schemas, ensuring performance that meets each project’s requirements. • Build sustainable CI/CD pipelines and produce clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for critical systems. • Coordinate integrations and manage dependencies, technically negotiating with other teams to unblock work and ensure smooth team execution.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Tech Lead/Backend developer, combined with solid exposure to and understanding of frontend ecosystems. • 5+ years of experience working with Node.js and TypeScript. • Strong proficiency in Serverless and Microservices architectural patterns. • Solid knowledge of system integration via services and API design/consumption (REST and GraphQL). • Consistent practice with version control (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban). • Differentials / Preferred: • Experience in the AWS Cloud ecosystem (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). • Familiarity with messaging and caching tools (RabbitMQ and Redis). • Hands-on experience with observability tools (Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace). • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices (continuous integration with Jenkins and analysis via SonarQube). • Comfortable organizing work in collaborative environments (Jira and Confluence).
