Portwest operates an online catalogue and multi-language website, provides retail and wholesale (including delivery direct from warehouses to customers or third parties), and maintains a network of 14 global warehouses to support fast distribution.

📋 Description

• Build high-quality business relationships with new and existing customers • Conduct daily face-to-face sales meetings with distributors, resellers, and agents • Identify existing customers with high growth potential and create development roadmaps • Identify new business opportunities and complete the business plan • Apply consistent acquisition strategies • Sell consultatively, identify customer needs, and offer suitable Portwest solutions • Prepare written proposals and quotations for existing and prospective customers • Sell new Portwest products by presenting samples • Ensure effective follow-up to close sales • Continuously analyze the market, including trade fairs, seminars, exhibitions, and industry publications • Support distributors in promoting Portwest products to end customers • Report to the Country Manager • Sell Portwest protective workwear, workwear, and PPE to distributors in the Innsbruck/Salzburg region

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience selling PPE, workwear, or safety clothing • Ideally, experience selling for a manufacturer, distributor, reseller, or agent • Sales experience in a related industry (e.g., automotive, tools, chemicals, MRO, etc.) with the same sales network will also be considered • Willingness to drive Portwest revenue growth through active field sales • Valid Class B driver’s license • Willingness to travel throughout the region • Legal right to live and work in the relevant jurisdiction
