📋 Description

• Build autonomous Inbox-Agents triggered when something new happens inside a ticket • Build agent templates that customers can train and use • Design escalation logic for agents deciding when to involve a human • Ensure agents adhere to defined processes • Develop harness engineering for agents with 100+ tools • Design system prompts, skills, and agent interactions • Improve the custom knowledge base and AI learning behavior • Improve AI knowledge-base search through tools, system prompts, and skills • Build voice agents on LiveKit for handling phone calls • Select appropriate LLMs for tasks • Cache and stream responses to reduce latency • Implement retries for provider failures • Compact context and optimize RAG search • Track usage across providers and reduce costs • Run evaluations to determine performance improvements • Work autonomously with full ownership, shipping features to production

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in English • More than 2 years of experience building production agents • AI-native in production • Shipped agentic features real users rely on • Opinions on retrieval, evals, tool design, and where today's frontier models break down • Builder first; willing to ship a rough v1 quickly • Up to date with new AI models and research • Writing almost all code with AI • Comfortable working autonomously and taking full ownership of tasks • Performs well under performance pressure • Quick to learn new things and considers themselves a generalist • Everything is TypeScript; experience with Convex, Next.js, React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Vercel AI SDK, or Convex Agent Component may be encountered
