📋 Description

• Maintain the full general ledger and prepare monthly trial balances • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances • Assist with annual financial statements • Process journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustments • Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules and asset registers • Handle Accounts Payable and day-to-day transactions • Support Accounts Receivable processes • Process monthly payroll and contractor payments • Prepare management reports, variance analysis and commentary for leadership • Monitor cash flow, working capital and key financial metrics • Identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows • Provide insights to support budgeting and forecasting • Serve as a point of contact for financial questions across the business • Work closely with operations and Accounts teams • Share Excel knowledge and build better tools for the wider team

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing a full general ledger, reconciliations and month-end close • Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and payroll processing • Excellent Excel skills • Track record of producing clear, accurate management reports and variance analysis • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork • Experience with Xero is a bonus • Knowledge of Australian GST and income tax is a bonus • Knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax is a bonus • Genuine interest in supporting budgeting and forecasting is a bonus • Responsive, reliable communication style is a bonus • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and processes • Ability to work independently while staying closely connected to the team
