Description

• Creation and maintenance of reports detailing sales mix of life insurance business • Analysis and communication of progress towards goals • Identifying data trends and anomalies • Designing and implementing communication process • Supporting various business areas with data and analyses • Working with Excel, Access, SAS, SQL, and Power BI • Managing multiple assignments simultaneously • Demonstrating thorough knowledge of various data sources • Diagnosing and managing software defects

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data, finance, insurance, and Business Systems Analysis • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or 4 years of work/technical experience) • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills • Experience running queries in SQL • Proficiency in MS Office, with focus on Excel, Access • Experience with Power BI • Experience in insurance industry, agent compensation, life policy administration or new product implementation • Strong analytical skills • Effective organizational skills • Self-development focus with enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement • Ability to work individually and as part of a team with limited supervision
