• Lead and manage one or more engineering teams, setting clear goals and expectations, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Personally write code, review code, and review architecture documents as needed to keep the team moving forward and uplevel other team members. Partner with tech leads, senior individual contributors, product managers, and designers to plan and deliver features and software. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality product delivery in a timely and efficient manner. Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of our systems and infrastructure.
• Strong alignment with Pulley's culture. You are comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, where ambiguity is common. A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a direct people management role. Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams. Strong technical background with experience in modern software development practices and technologies. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for inspiring and motivating teams.
