• Architect and build efficient, reliable, and maintainable embedded and systems software from concept to production. • Write clean, well-documented code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance and improve the user experience. • Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and engineers to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and deliverables. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior software engineers.
• Minimum BS or higher in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, Physics, or Chemistry. • 5+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience on hardware or instrumentation platform. • Strong Python experience and/or proficient in C/C++. • Competence with Git version control, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines. • Use of software testing principles and practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts. • Masters or higher in relevant fields preferred. • Experience with cloud platforms, quantum computing, microservices architecture, and database systems.
