• Designing, implementing, and refining product development, testing, and processes. • Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time, and proposing and managing budgets for projects. • Leading team in the development of new products, solutions, and processes, and assigning tasks to engineering and technical personnel. • Overseeing project logistics and resource allocation, and securing the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments. • Striving to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs. • Communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers. • Ensuring that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines. • Collaborating with other team leaders and departments, and ensuring that products have the support of upper management. • Determining the need for training and talent development. • Providing clear and concise instructions to engineering teams. • Leading research and development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes. • Coordinating closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, and Business Development teams to improve operational processes and maximizing product impact.
• Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar role. • Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems. • Detail-oriented, with the ability to catch the smallest errors that can result in major problems. • Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously. • A degree in engineering management, technical management, or business administration. • Proven supervisory and technical skills. • A passion for the movie industry and a desire to develop deep expertise in this space. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand diverse viewpoints and appreciate differing perspectives. • Continuous improvement mindset, constantly questioning and evolving best practices. • Familiarity with Agile product management methodologies and experience with product management software tools is a plus.
