Description

• Rackner is seeking a Software Engineer SME to work with the Pipeline Services Product Line Manager, and Pipeline Architect to ensure that pipelines support the needs of software developers, adhere to DoD IA standards, and the DoD CIO DevSecOps Reference Design to support the rapid fielding of customers software to the DevSecOps Platform. • Ability to design and implement best practices and standards in software development such as readability, code coverage, code smells, identification of appropriate technologies that are approved for DoD environments • Ability to identify and address bottlenecks and proactive improvements in current software delivery • Ability to identify and address cybersecurity strategies and issues for software development • Ability to write clean and functional code to address challenging problems

Requirements

• BS; Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent • 5 years; Contributing on a technical team for a software or IT project. • 3 years; Development containerized applications and delivery to a containerized platform • At least two of: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or Go • Kubernetes, Docker, and the Open Container Initiative • Cloud Native Computing Foundation projects • Continuous Delivery and Deployment Automation • Unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing • Microservice Architectures • Cloud Computing • NIST Risk Management Framework
