• Develop and manage product management relationships with our suppliers, leading manufacturers of high-quality engineering thermoplastics (ETPs) in the DACH region • Collaborate with European Product Management to implement market and product strategies • Support our sales teams in the designated product and application areas • Act as the contact person for strategically important customers in the region (Tier 1–Tier 2 experience advantageous) • Help identify growth opportunities and ensure a strong commercial presence • Provide first-line technical advice to sales teams and customers regarding product selection, markets and applications • Communicate success stories and product benefits across the region • Contribute to commercial planning and budgeting • Monitor the performance of assigned product groups and ensure target achievement • Provide market intelligence that may influence budgeting and sales activities • Serve as an interface between regional sales teams and suppliers • Translate product strategies into concrete regional action plans • Align regional pricing, product availability and feasible customer requirements • Prepare accurate sales (demand) forecasts to support supply chain planning and ensure product availability • Contribute to demand planning and risk management strategies • Promote cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment on shared objectives • Coach and develop team members to strengthen knowledge and performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry or a comparable field • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial or technical product roles (technical activities) • Ability to influence across functions and countries and to implement objectives • Strong, clear communication and problem-solving skills, with competence in data analysis • Ability to manage complex and conflicting priorities; results-oriented and responsive • Hands-on mentality and strong service/customer orientation • Fluent in German and English • Experience in a matrix organization is advantageous • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to European meetings (up to 50%)
