Description

• Implement, design, and drive new features delivery end-to-end through implementation, launch, and continuous iteration • Document development processes, standards, and best practices • Write and maintain a full unit test suite • Ensure the technical feasibility and stability of solutions in accordance with architectural standards • Help manage deployments and setup CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate in an agile environment to understand business requirements and translate those needs to actionable development code using best practices • Engage with business stakeholders to define application requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs • Write performant, scalable and testable code with the help of modern tools • Participate in code reviews that uphold the principle of clean code and architecture • Participate in active engineering design sessions with evidence and experience-based contributions • Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of developing complex, high-quality software systems delivered to customers • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level • Expert-level knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework • Strong background in developing cloud-based solutions, with a focus on security • Comfort operating in a sometimes ambiguous, fast-changing environment with rapid iteration cycles • Demonstrated experience managing project timelines and feature requests in a realistic manner • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies • Ability to document and articulate software solutions and strategies effectively
