📋 Description

• Process supplier and customer invoices accurately and on schedule • Reconcile bank, supplier and customer accounts each month • Maintain the purchase and sales ledgers • Prepare month-end reports and support the year-end audit pack • Resolve billing and payment queries by email and phone • Flag variances and cash-flow risks early to the finance lead • Own routine finance administration work end to end • Work 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST) from home

🎯 Requirements

• Two or more years in a finance administration or bookkeeping role • Experience with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks • Comfortable in Excel with formulas, filters and pivot tables • A track record of accurate reconciliations with a clear audit trail • Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work • Familiarity with UK VAT returns (nice to have) • Exposure to multi-currency ledgers (nice to have) • Experience supporting a month-end close (nice to have)
