Description

• Manage financial reporting process and prepare comprehensive financial reports with key insights, including budgets vs actuals comparisons and identification of areas for improvement • Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and construct robust financial models and effectively communicate key insights to contribute to informed decision-making processes • Establish rapport and build strong relationships with individuals across the organization, understanding their functions and requirements for effective reporting • Conduct thorough analysis of the organization's reporting strengths and weaknesses and provide recommendations for improving reporting processes, data accuracy, and efficiency • Drive efforts to standardize, streamline, and automate financial and operational processes • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and engage with founders, investors, and management to provide financial updates, address inquiries, and align on financial objectives • Manage a team, ensuring efficiency, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and identifying career progression opportunities for each team member

Requirements

• Strong academic record with a degree in finance, business administration, or a related field • 4 - 6 years of finance and accounting experience in a relevant industry or position • Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing complex data sets and constructing financial models • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Experience in managing and leading a team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial insights and analyses • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment • Experience working cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders • Passionate about sustainability and the mission of rePurpose Global
