• Development and oversight of product management for our suppliers — leading manufacturers of high-quality engineering thermoplastics (ETPs) in the DACH region • Collaboration with European Product Management to implement market and product strategies • Support for our sales teams in the designated product and application areas • Point of contact for strategically important customers in the region (Tier 1–Tier 2 experience advantageous) • Assistance in identifying growth opportunities and ensuring a strong commercial presence • Provision of first-line technical advice to sales teams and customers on product selection, market and applications • Communication of success stories and product benefits across the region • Participation in commercial planning and budgeting • Monitoring the performance of assigned product groups and ensuring targets are met • Providing market intelligence that can influence budgeting and sales activities • Acting as the interface between regional sales teams and suppliers • Translating product strategies into concrete regional action plans • Regional coordination of pricing, product availability and (reasonable) customer requirements • Preparation of accurate sales (demand) forecasts to support supply chain planning and ensure product availability • Contribution to demand planning and risk management strategies • Promoting cross-functional collaboration and ensuring aligned objectives • Coaching and development of team members to strengthen knowledge and performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial or technical product roles (technical activities) • Ability to influence across functions and countries and to implement objectives • Strong, clear communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in data analysis • Ability to manage complex and conflicting priorities; results-oriented and responsive • Hands-on mindset and strong customer-service orientation • Fluent in German and English • Experience in a matrix organization is advantageous • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and to attend European meetings (up to 50%)
