Description

• Define data practices at the organization • Build data infrastructure for strategic business decisions • Collect and analyze data to guide product improvements • Provide updates on progress toward company KPIs • Monitor student experiences for rapid interventions and improved outcomes • Understand partner recruitment processes • Gather and analyze data on contract performance • Collect system reliability and performance data • Design and optimize data queries and visualizations • Assist with building complex queries and data visualizations • Design data collection pipelines • Ensure data quality and security • Design data warehouse architecture

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data Science or Data Analytics, or equivalent experience • 4+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or similar roles • Proficiency in complex data analysis, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis • Ability to present complex data findings using visualization tools • Expertise in building data pipelines using Python and SQL • Proficiency in modern database modeling techniques • Experience with serverless cloud databases • Ability to translate business requirements into implementation strategies • Experience building systems in a team environment • Willingness to learn web development technologies • Humble, thoughtful, and motivated • NYC preferred, remote work okay • Passion for education
