Description

• Participate in UI design, technical design and code reviews • Groom and provide technical scope for stories and epics in 2-week sprints • Write high quality, performant, reusable frontend code for the UX in Rocket Lawyer’s products • Write unit and integration tests that demonstrate that the code meets acceptance criteria • Collaborate with other team members to incrementally deliver value to customers

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript technologies such as Angular, React, and Typescript • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/LESS/SASS • Experience developing responsive interfaces for web and mobile • Experience with performance debugging, benchmarking, and best practices • 3+ years of experience building web applications • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field • Strong interest in building delightful, intuitive user experiences • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and JUnit • Working knowledge of backend technologies like Java Spring Boot, Node, REST-based API development • Knowledge of web architecture and the HTTP protocol • Understanding of microservices architecture • Experience with MVC development • Knowledge of caching strategies • Knowledge of cloud development • Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD environments • Experience developing internationalized software
