📋 Description

• Design and evolve platform architecture on AWS, including EKS, ECR, Fargate, cluster design, namespace strategies, and high availability • Develop security concepts for regulated environments, including Zero Trust, IAM/RBAC, container security, encryption, audit logging, and network segmentation • Design asynchronous, loosely coupled system landscapes with Kafka/MSK, EventBridge and SNS/SQS as well as Saga, CQRS and Event Sourcing • Implement Everything-as-Code with Terraform or CDK and Policy-as-Code with OPA/Gatekeeper • Implement GitOps deployments using ArgoCD or Flux • Participate in operations during incidents, post-incident reviews and related architecture decisions • Develop productively with AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot and Cursor • Depending on the project, address platform and architecture topics for large corporations, the public sector, and enterprise and mid-market clients

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level with more than five years of experience • Built and operated Kubernetes platforms on AWS, especially EKS, ECR and Fargate • Experience with security architecture in complex enterprise environments, including Zero Trust, IAM/RBAC, container security and compliance • Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka or AWS equivalents, including consistency patterns • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps, especially Terraform, CDK or Pulumi as well as ArgoCD or Flux • ITIL-based operations with hands-on technical contribution • German fluent in spoken and written • English at C2 level • Productive use of AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot and Cursor is mandatory • Willingness to quickly get up to speed in new environments • Advantageous: SAFe and PI Planning, BPMN 2.0 with Camunda Platform 7 or 8, AWS certifications, and Kubernetes CKA/CKS
