• Serve as in-house counsel to an expanding comprehensive consumer healthcare company that meets people where they are in their personal journeys and connects them with both the information and the care they need. • Work with our product teams in spotting and solving legal issues as they arise. Be a hands on thought partner, build relationships and align legal compliance with the business team’s consumer first engagement strategy. • You should have an understanding of regulations impacting digital products such as FCC (TCPA, CANSPAM), FTC, State Unfair Competition Laws; familiarity with EEOC/ADA/GINA, ERISA, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid a plus. • Create and maintain guidelines to allow teams to independently address common digital product and design legal considerations. • Negotiate and drive commercial agreements to execution, support our sales teams in general contracting and negotiation of products and services. • Perform product reviews and serve as a subject matter expert related to our digital products. • Monitor state laws and regulatory trends impacting our industry and strategically manage risk. • Stretch outside of your comfort zone to learn the business and work collaboratively with your teammates and across the company to further our mission and drive success
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and member of the bar of a U.S. jurisdiction. • At least 5 years of legal experience; in-house experience a plus. • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and navigate amid uncertainty with a can-do, problem-solving attitude is a must! We are not the legal team of “no” or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - instead we are equal parts risk identifiers and problem solvers. And if you can liven up your legal advice with some humor, that is a plus (and always encouraged).
