Description

• Work with product managers, designers, and infra engineers to architect, build, test, and deliver full stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile • Continuously evaluate and improve the performance, reliability, and user experience of our applications • Propose technical solutions and spearhead technical solutioning on some of the team’s initiatives • Help mentor, develop, and support other engineers on the team • Maintain a regular feedback loop to allow for implementation iterations and making adjustments • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience • 6+ years of relevant industry experience in software development • Strong programming/coding fundamentals with proficiency in at least one of the following: Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, Kotlin • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
